About Us
In its earliest incarnations SCC provided a fairly unstructured learning environment, but as it grew we found that more parents and guardians were interested in specific classes and experiences. This interest has led to SCC being able to offer a wide range of classes in nearly every area of study, from math and social studies, to learning how to spin wool into yarn. Each year our parents and guardians bring new and exciting classes to our co-op, ensuring that our co-op evolves to meet the needs of our students and families.
SCC is entirely parent and guardian run. Our teachers are all people who have an interest in a particular subject. Some already have a specific subject in mind and others develop one out of curiosity or need. Our goal is to continue to nurture our community, providing not just classes, but friendship as well.
